How do you improve your skills and professions?

Basically, players improve their skills through usage. While class skills automatically increase when a character levels, weapon skills and trade skills only improve through usage. Thus, in order to improve your ability with swords, you must equip and fight with a sword. Professions and secondary skills operate similarly. In order to increase your skill level in a profession or secondary skill, you must use it.

What are skill caps and how do they raise?

Skill caps are the maximum level that you can currently raise a given skill. Skill caps are raised by leveling (weapon skills) and by receiving training (professions and secondary skills). For weapon skills, gaining a level of experience will raise the cap for each weapon skill by 5. For tradeskills, your profession rank - apprentice, journeyman, expert, artisan, and master - determines your maximum skill level. These ranks are gained by receiving training (from NPCs and/or books) and have minimum skill and level requirements. ~top

Where can you learn professions and secondary skills, and how many can you learn of each?

Professions and secondary skills are learned from various trainers around the world. Some tradeskills will be rare and hard to find trainers for, while others will be much more common, with trainers located in multiple cities. Players can learn a maximum of two primary professions. In order to learn a new primary profession, a player must unlearn one of his or her existing primary professions first. Secondary skills are less versatile and robust than primary professions, but there is no limit to the number of secondary professions you can learn. For all tradeskills, you will be able to raise your maximum skill cap by receiving the next tier of expertise.

2.The Good and the Dark Side of Playing a Priest~top

The most common mistaken thought that online gamers usually have is that in the World of Warcraft, the highly successful MMORPG from Blizzard-Activision, the priest class is the healing class.

This, naturally, is only partly true. Priests are healers, yes. But as is usually the case, they are required to do damage.

Priests have the choice to heal or to be a damage dealer. But priests are no longer the best healbots in the game since the release of the Burning Crusade expansion. Tree form druids have more efficient HOTs (heals over time) compared to priests. Holy paladins are greater single target healers compared to priests. And restoration-specced shammies are more desired multi-target healers compared to priests.~top

As healers, priests can be considered as jacks of all trades and masters of none. They have fast heals, serviceable heals over time, and multi-target heals, but they're easily not as efficient with these as the other character types. So, if they're no longer the main healbots in the game, what should priests be doing come tailend content in 25 man raids? Two purposes actually.

First, as we have discussed before, priests are required to unleash some heavy damage. Focusing on shadow talents is best for this, what with several direct damage spells from the dark arts.

Number two, priests are stars for one critical function: mana batteries. Priests have skills that increase the mana regeneration of spell casters in the same party. This is the rationale that explains why priests are grouped_placed in the same group with spell casters - particularly healers - in 25 man raids.~top

Priests are one of the best in soloing to level 70. Until level 40, priests rely on wands as their main damage dealing weapon. But by level 40, most priests focus on shadow just to get shadow form, the essential deal maker for the class. Shadow form grants tremendouamazing increase in the shadow damage dealt by priests.

Shadow priests are highly effective killers. It will take a shadow priest approximately 25% of the time it will take a warrior to kill a specific monster.

Whether they heal or they do damage, priests are a fantastic class that will vindicate your decision to roll one.

3.WOW Druid Tips~top

In World of Warcraft, Druids have been described as the "Swiss Army Knife" of classes. They can fill the role of heal, tank, or DPSCthe 3 major roles in the game- and they can switch between roles as needed.

Playing a Druid requires a player who can adapt to the situation in which his group finds itself. Knowing how to tank and heal, using the class's variety, and managing mana when in Night Elf or Druid form are Druid tips that will help a character play the class better.

The first tip is for the player of a Druid character to know how to fill the two main roles that are expected of the class in the game. Being a DPS spell caster is not as important to the Druid, as Warlocks and Mages have higher DPS ratings, and although other two classes are available to tank and other three classes can heal, competition for the spots is not as intense as that for the DPS slots in a group and many groups will disband for lack of either.~top

Depending on how the Druid chooses to spend his talent points, he may fill one role better than another but a Druid who can heal and tank will be able to fill two vital group roles.

The second tip is to use the variety of the class to keep a character's interest in the class. The Druid may be a jack-of-all-trades and usually master of only one, but it appeals to players who easily become bored with a single play style. Using this tip to its full effectiveness in World of Warcraft will help keep it interesting for the player.

The third tip is for characters to learn how to manage mana in their Night Elf or tauren forms. The bear form gains rage and the cat form uses energy. Managing mana will help the Druid fulfill the role of healer of DPS caster. More often than not, the Druid will be called upon to be a backup healer if he is not restoration specialization, but the moonkin form in the balance tree puts the Druid slightly below the Mage and Warlock in DPS capabilities.~top

Remember that your mana bar refills when you're shape-shifted. Even if you're main tanking as a bear, you can speed up instance runs by dropping out of shape and healing your party between fights.~top

At most cases you can look for opportunities to play in a group and learn group healing and fighting skills, which can be quite different from soloing. If you are a role-player, you need to know that Cenarius, a demigod, invented the druidic arts, taught them first to Malfurion, and then possibly the Tauren. Make sure that you excel at gear and talents. The Druid class is very flexible, but does have its restrictions.
