A U.S. Guild Ensidia Has Reported The World First Kill of Arthas Menethil
A U.S. Guild Ensidia has reported the world first kill of Arthas Menethil, otherwise known as the Lich King of World of Warcraft's latest expansion. Ensidia, a big Horde guild on the U.S. Illidan server(Tarren Mill - EU), races to get world firsts on their server – downed 25-man Arthas last night. World of Warcraft patch 3.3.2 brings with it the final wings of the Icecrown Citadel, and with it the final confrontation with Arthas of Menethil, the Lich King.
Patch 3.3.2 is the culmination of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion for World of Warcraft, which allows wow players entry into Frostwing Halls, where the Lich King awaits. Exploits allowed them an easier time of it (use of saronite bombs by a rogue were causing the Lich King’s platform to reassemble itself, making the encounter far less difficult), and thus, Blizzard came down with a 72 hour ban, forfeiture of their loot and achievements. If they’re going for the world first, they need to be beyond above-board with the whole thing. They should’ve wiped it out as soon as they saw what was going on and started anew, without the exploit.
As we all know, the content of the third expansion Cataclysm for the massively popular MMORPG World of Warcraft is winding down. Now we can focus our attention on Cataclysm. The new expansion Cataclysm will introduce two new races which will bump up subscription numbers surely, and WoW players have been asking to play as goblins for a long time, their desire will be achieved soon.
