Aion online magazine will be published Next month
NCSoft revealed the upcoming publication of Aion: The Official Magazine, a digital-only magazine dedicated to the fantasy MMORPG. For $3.99 an issue, the magazine delivers the latest news, player guides and tips as well as a new in-game item every month.
By pre-ordering the first issue, Aion subscribers will earn an extra in-game bonus: five black or white dyes that change the color of their character’s armor. Purchasing a 6-issue subscription for $21.54 or 12-issue subscription for $38.28 will score players even more special in-game items.
The first issue launches March 26 with 100 pages worth of news, features, tutorials and interviews. It also includes an exclusive in-game Kerub hat. Later issues will only be about 60 pages.

For $4, I’d prefer a hard copy of the magazine. Tips, tricks and tutorials can all be found online for free, so why pay the cash? For the ridiculous Kerub hat? The magazine better step up the in-game items if they want to maintain a decent readership.
Furthermore, how long do you think a magazine like this can last? WoW only just came out with its own magazine last month after taking nearly half a year to put its first issue together. But WoW probably has enough content to warrant a monthly magazine. Does Aion?
