Things You Didn't Know Existed in the Game: World of Warcraft
Recently, there is a hot topic in the wow forum about the unknow things existed in the game World of Warcraft. Though, World of Warcraft is so famous and over played by lots of gamers, there is still something you didn't know existed in the game which you may interest in. Many gamers posted their discoveries on this topic, now i'd like to summarize gamers' opinions to all of you who interested. You can have a try.
Wyrmrest Accord-
In the Ruins of Lordearon or UC World of Warcraft where the throne is for arthas's father, if u turn up the ambient and the music/sound all the way down you'll hear some amazing stuff.
Start from the bell tower where it signify sarthas's arrival, and then the hall where you hear people cheering him, and ends in the throne room where you hear him kill his father. It's pretty creepy and awesome at the same time.
Mannoroth-
In Hellfire Peninsula north of the Alliance base there is a cave you can kind of glitch to. It has some scrolls, skeleton and ashen pottery, there was some past suggestions that it was a minor link to the Ashbringer.
Shandris-
Just outside of Goldshire World of Warcraft there is a house on Crystal Lake with some skinning trainer and trade supplies women in the lower level. If you go up stairs you will notice the music change into some creepy type of song. Additionally there are sometimes five children there who now stand in the shape of an hour glass, but used to stand in the shape of a pentagram. If you go into the house around 7:40ish a.m. server time and wait five minutes you will hear either a banshee scream, or a voice clip that says "You will die." The voice clip is actually from C'thun, an old raid boss. I believe the soundclips play at 7:45, but I can't recall. I have done this and heard the voice though. Crystal Lake is a reference to the Friday the 13th movies, and an NPC named Jason Mathers is standing on the dock outside.
In the ruins of Lordearan if you have detect invisibility cast (warlock spell from felhound) you will see a bunch of neutral ghosts in the courtyard. Also you will see ghosts at Raven Hill cemetery in the houses with this spell cast, named the unforgiven. If you don't have the spell, you can still cast an AoE spell in the houses here and you will enter combat with an invisible being.
Ravenholdt-
During the daily Get Kraken quest, if you manage to kill the Kraken you'll receive a Kraken Tooth, which starts another daily quest.
Anvilmar-
The lone blacksmith in Northern Barrens (up by the harpies) World of Warcraft. If you go in his house you can hear the music/ambience (though not the voices) from the old throne room in Undercity.
Caelestrasz-
At the temple of winter in storm peaks there a bunch of dead frost giants called "servant of hodir" and they have really random levels.
Gnomeregan-
when using the [Wormhole Generator: Northrend] World of Warcraft, once in a blue moon you will get the option "Underground". it sticks you in a drain pipe under the horde side of dalaran, and inside is a vendor who sells engineering schematics, but only to the first person in there each day. Also when you select borean tundra, you poof 5000 feet in the air and fall into a very shallow pond, so it's best to keep a parachute handy.
Of course, there are still lots of discoveries we can pay attention to in World of Warcraft. Just keep finding during your play, you may find some beneficial points to your world of warcraft characters and have more fun to play.
