World Of Warcraft Cataclysm Issues About Female Players
As a female world of warcraft player, fortunately I got the news that I was invited to World of Warcraft's Cataclysm Beta. While unfortunately, like many companies, Blizzard developed their games more towards the male market than the female. To make me happy that the game advanced a bit on this point than the former expansions.
For the new added races in the game, i didn't play Worgen, coz there are no female Worgen in the game and the zone is badly bugged. I rolled a Goblin and began working my way through the opening quests. The Goblins are definitely the more cartoonish of the two new races. you do not actually kill the other Goblins, but then
again, they constantly survive explosions without dying.
My Mage. Cataclysm brings in new race/class combos, and unlike a lot of the coverage out there, I have been doing some wonderful questing in the 'new old' zones. I rolled a Night Elf Mage and began working on leveling her until I hit a bugged quest. I was pleased to be working through the old, but revamped content in Teladrassil. In Darkshore, there are ground taxis which take players between the quest hubs to make it easier to get back and forth.
Except the wonderful new contents in Cataclysm, there are also problems existed. My problem was the disconnect between having a level 12 Mage doing level 9 quests.
I love playing Night Elves, which are a female warrior society that worship Elune, the Goddess of the Moon. The question is that though a female warrior society, they are not very female oriented in their implementation, and certainly not as lesbian centered as much of the lore would suggest. This question existed long time if Blizzard would remedy this it would be a nice thing. Anyway just keep expecting.
