World of Warcraft Cataclysm 5-man Dungeon Rumored

In the upcoming World of Warcraft Cataclysm, a new 5-man dungeon is rumored to be added called Uldum. It has been mentioned throughout the game's lore before and what we do know is that it is a titan city similar to Uldaman and Ulduar.

When Wrath of the Lich King first came out, many players were mildly dissatisfied with how little raiding opportunity the expansion provided (Naxxramas, which we already knew, and 3 single-boss raids). Well, World of Warcraft Cataclysm seems like a big step in a more positive direction.

There’s a level 85 five-player dungeon you might just learn about soon which holds seven bosses in a single instance. It’s in a place you may have heard of before… Uldum. Details regarding Blizzard’s upcoming Cataclysm expansion pack for World of Warcraft  have been scarce so far, however there are rumors circulating which suggest that this expansion will include a new 5-man dungeon.

In a forum post talking about the speculation of larger dungeons in Cataclysm, there was a blue post on the Cataclysm forums by Zarhym that mentioned a new dungeon named Uldum with 7 bosses and that we would be hearing about it soon.

Some WoW gamers believe that the entrance to this dungeon could be located somewhere southern Tanaris (screenshot here), I guess we will have to wait for more news to leak before we can confirm this.

It is thought that more World of Warcraft Cataclysm details will be revealed this week, currently there is no release date known, all we know is that it will appear in 2010, some more solid release information would be nice Blizzard!

Hopefully this week or next we will hear further news on the Uldum dungeon similar to Mount Hyjal and Vashj’ir. I don’t know if anyone else has ever explored southern Tanaris, but maybe there will be an entrance to Uldum, where the titan Gate Watcher of Norgannon resides, in front of a large wooden gate with a hole in the center and a number of arrows sticking out.
